The Chita Summit was a meeting of then ASB powers on January 28th, 1971 to formalize and determine the member-state's economic trade relationships and as a means for the leadership of each nation to determine the operation of each other's state-run news companies in one-another's territory, there-by also serving as a secondary function as a business conference for media distribution. The meeting was called in the then-liberated and secured city of Chita in eastern-communist controlled Russia. At the time, Chita was acting as the defacto capital of the Nikolov Nitski regime.
